Chicken Melt

Ingredients

  • 1 slice onion (thick)
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 grilled chicken breast
  • 2 slices swiss cheese

Directions

  • 1 Saute onion in half the butter till golden.
  • 2 Set aside.
  • 3 Heat non stick pan.
  • 4 Spread butter on both slices of bread.
  • 5 Place one slice of bread, buttered side down in pre-heated pan.
  • 6 Put one slice of cheese, onions, chicken breast, one slice of cheese and then the remaining slice of bread with the buttered side up.
  • 7 Continue to cook until bread on bottom is brown and toasty.
  • 8 Turn the entire sandwich and toast the other side and wait for cheese to get melty.
  • 9 SLice in half and enjoy.
