Asparagus With Pine Nuts

  • 1 1/2 lbs asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese (Grated)


  • 1 Prepare asparagus by snapping off tough ends and rinsing under cool water. Steam until bright green and still slightly crisp, about 5 minutes.
  • 2 Toss in olive oil and sprinkle with lemon, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with pinenuts and Parmesan cheese.
