Layered Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb elbow macaroni, cooked
- 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
Directions
- 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2 Coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 Layer 1/3 of the cooked macaroni in the baking dish.
- 4 Sprinkle with 1-1/2 cups cheese.
- 5 Repeat the layers; top with the remaining macaroni.
- 6 Reserve the remaining 1 cup cheese.
- 7 In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until blended; pour over the macaroni.
- 8 Cover and bake for 45 minutes, or until heated through.
- 9 Uncover and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the paprika.
- 10 Cover and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
