Superb French Salad Dressing

Ingredients

• 1 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup white vinegar or 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 small onion, quartered
• 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4-1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)

Directions

• 1 Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor for about 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
• 2 Place in sterilized jars.
• 3 Label and date.
