Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons oil
Directions
- 1 Grease 12 muffin cups.
- 2 Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 3 Cook bacon in a pan until crisp, then chop into small pieces.
- 4 Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- 5 In a seperate bowl mix egg, milk, and oil.
- 6 Add all at once to the dry ingredients along with bacon until just combined.
- 7 Mixture will look somewhat lumpy but do not mix more.
- 8 Fill the muffin cups 2/3rds of the way full.
- 9 Bake@ 25 minutes.
