Baked Cream Cheese Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (300 g) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (250 g) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  • 1 Blend all ingredients in food processor, except cheddar cheese, adding as much milk as necessary for a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • 2 Amount of garlic and/or Tabasco sauce can be increased for more intense flavour!
  • 3 Spread in pie plate and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • 4 Bake at 375F for 35 minutes or until heated through and cheddar cheese is melted.
  • 5 Serve with pita crisps, crackers or tortilla chips.
