Easy Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon dried onions or 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
Directions
- 1 Cook the broccoli in the water until tender but not mushy.
- 2 Stir in onion or chives, cream of mushroom soup, milk and butter.
- 3 Heat to a simmer and cook three minutes, stirring well.
- 4 Add cheese and stir until it melts.
- 5 Serve immediately.
