Easy Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon dried onions or 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed

Directions

  • 1 Cook the broccoli in the water until tender but not mushy.
  • 2 Stir in onion or chives, cream of mushroom soup, milk and butter.
  • 3 Heat to a simmer and cook three minutes, stirring well.
  • 4 Add cheese and stir until it melts.
  • 5 Serve immediately.
