Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 (40 ounce) can sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallow
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 Drain off liquid from potatoes. Cut into bite sized pieces or leave as packed.
  • 3 Dot with butter. Sprinkle brown sugar over all. Add pecans if using.
  • 4 Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows. Place back in oven for another 5-10 minutes.
