Ingredients
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- 1 Preheat over to 325 degrees.
- 2 Cream together butter, shortening, and vanilla.
- 3 Add sugar and eggs to the mixture.
- 4 Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
- 5 Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
- 6 Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.
