Peanut Butter Crunch (Ice Cream Topping)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  • 1 Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until it softens. Slowly add milk and stir until sugar dissolves.
  • 2 Bring to a boil and cook until mixture reduces and thickens.
  • 3 Add peanut butter and mix thoroughly.
  • 4 Add peanuts and vanilla.
  • 5 Continue stirring until smooth.
  • 6 Serve warm over ice cream.
