Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, Melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups raspberries

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 Muffins:.
  • 3 Beat the eggs, sugar and butter until light.
  • 4 Add the milk to the egg mixture and stir until blended.
  • 5 Combine baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, salt and flour.
  • 6 Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture mixing until just blended.
  • 7 Carefully fold in the raspberries.
  • 8 Fill well greased regular muffin pans approximately 1/2 to 2/3 full.
  • 9 Top with a scant tbsp of topping.
  • 10 Bake for 20 minutes or until the muffins are cooked in the middle.
